You're not stuck, you're composting
A note to purpose-powered women burning it down to rebuild from truth
This weekend, I’m composting.
Not stuck. Not lost. Just deep in the soil - listening, reflecting, integrating.
The energies are fast at the moment. There’s a collective quickening happening - time feels like it’s speeding up, synchronicities are arriving thick and fast, and opportunities are everywhere.
It’s easy to get swept up by it all. To say “yes” to too much. To keep moving because when you’re already running, the momentum makes it easier to just keep going.
But I’m reminded, over and over, that the next chapter doesn’t arrive through force.
It springs from the stillness. From the nothingness. From the composting.
Today I am still, and I thought I would share my reflections from this space
Because this is the part of the cycle we’re not taught to honour.
The part where things feel less shiny, less shareable, and certainly less productive.
And yet, it’s where creativity is born.
It’s where old patterns break down so something new can take root.
One of the women in my community, a Manifestor, recently realised she’d been stuck in the doing cycle. She was constantly creating, pushing, launching - because she thought that was the only way. But learning more about her design helped her see that her energy moves in powerful bursts, followed by deep rest.
That permission to pause changed everything.
She finally gave herself space to compost. To go off-grid. To stop trying to figure it all out.
And what’s emerged is something so much more aligned. You can feel the difference in how she shows up. There’s a groundedness. A spark. A knowing. She’s even renamed one of her core offers to reflect her fire-starter energy.
And this, to me, is where business gets really exciting.
Not in the constant striving, nor endlessly ‘being in flow’.
But in the dance. In the divine duality of masculine and feminine.
Light and dark.
Shining and composting.
Doing and being.
Napoleon said it well:
The practical dreamers have always been, and always will be, the pattern makers of civilisation. We who desire to accumulate riches should remember the real leaders of the world always have been those who harnessed and put into practical use the intangible unseen forces of unborn opportunity, and have converted those forces — or impulses of thought — into skyscrapers, cities, factories, airplanes, automobiles and every form of convenience that makes life more pleasant.
Napoleon Hill
We need both strategy AND soul. Dreaming AND action.
If you’re in a composting phase too, I want you to know - it’s not a waste.
It’s not a step backwards.
It’s not you “falling behind”.
It’s the necessary breakdown before the breakthrough. The fallow ground before new growth. It’s where the dream takes shape.
And to the midlife women in my orbit - the ones quietly burning things down, questioning everything, and rebuilding from the inside out - I see you.
This composting isn’t just personal, it’s collective.
We’re unbecoming what no longer fits so we can become something truer. We’re not late. We’re right on time. This is the sacred work of midlife alchemy - and we don’t have to do it alone.
We’re in this together. Rooted. Rising. Reclaiming.
My lovely, trust the soil.
Something beautiful is being made in the dark.

Beautiful, Lucy 🙏 and so important to be aware of! That all seasons of life are equally important 😊
I love that quote from Napoleon. Someone mentioned something similar to me today, that I'm the kind of person person that midwifes the unseen into form, so that really spoke to me.
